VOG Tester

Advanced device for testing the system protecting against exceeding the maximum rotor speed (VOG – Vestas Overspeed Guard) in VESTAS wind turbines. The tester supports all VESTAS turbines available on the market, ranging from V25 200kW to V100 3MW, and selected Gamesa turbines.

Checking the operation of the Vestas Overspeed Guard system with the use of the VOG Tester is very simple and intuitive. It boils down to placing a special plate in front of the rotor rotation sensor, selecting the appropriate type of turbine from the device menu and starting the test. The display of the tester will show the rotor speed at which the VOG protection should work and the currently set speed. The set speed should be increased by pressing the upper button until the turbine VOG protection is activated.

Power supply is 3 x AA batteries (up to several hundred tests can be performed on a single set of batteries). The system is delivered in a highly durable, waterproof BoxCase transport case. Outer size: 190 x 170 x 60mm.
